Senior Service Management Consultant

Salary 30k – 38k plus benefits.

About the Role

As a Senior Service Management Consultant you will responsible for the people, processes
and systems that deliver world class business critical support services for our clients. Our ability to tailor our Service Portfolio to meet
the specific needs of each Client is one of our key differentiators and ensures our Clients receive precisely the services that their
business needs.

Using your experience you will lead teams of technical and service consultants to facilitate a truly DevOps service model, and:
Be responsible for day to day service delivery (Service Incident Management, Release and Deployment Management etc.)
Act as a point of escalation for our clients, being seen as a trusted contact that is able to “get things done”
Take ownership for end to end delivery of service improvements and work packages
Naturally be seen as coaching and mentoring those around you

Attitude, Skills and Experience

Outstanding attention to detail, with the ability to work pro-actively, independently and respond flexibly to changing priorities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express complex concepts in simple terms
A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
A willingness to travel and work onsite as client needs dictate
Experience of, or potential to, work closely with senior client stakeholders
Experience of, or potential to, lead, coach and mentor more junior team members
Experience and understanding of the evolving software delivery environments (e.g. Agile, Waterfall and DevOps)
Experience of supporting enterprise and business critical software solutions using a range of technology
platforms, including COTS, Open Source and bespoke software


Hands-on technical skills in the development and problem solving of complex, innovative services (e.g. .Net, Drupal,
GeoServer, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Amazon Web Services, Linux and Windows Server)
Working knowledge of Agile practices (e.g. Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Stand Ups, Back Log Refinement etc.)
Working knowledge of the Government Services Design Manual
Experience of working with spatial data and systems (GIS)
