HR Information System Support – iTrent, Excel, HR, Support, Reporting, Business Objects

£19 per hour 

My client is currently on the lookout for a a super user of HR Information System (iTrent). You will be able to offer an effective support service to end users of the iTrent system. Have the ability to use Business Objects to produce reports from iTrent. Assist HR Data Manager in future development of iTrent. Manages day to day queries with HR (and some Payroll) and resolves problems as they arise.

Key Accountabilities

  • Investigate new system functionality with HR System iTrent
  • Analyse end user requirements
  • Test new programs and fault finding
  • Developing existing programs by analysing and identifying areas for modification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of iTrent system
  • Excellent knowledge of organisation structure and position management
  • Ensures audit trail for all transactions, in line with corporate standards
  • Compliance with Skanska HR Data Protection Policy
  • Attendance at and contribution to meetings as required by HR Data Manager
  • Ensures completion of comprehensive user acceptance testing
  • Deals with more complex system work to resolve HR queries
  • Provision of regular and scheduled data cleansing activities
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Knowledge and Experience

  • Ability to carry out complex system work as and when required
  • Competent in reporting and other data requests to produce reports using Business Objects
  • Arrange training and support HR Business Partners and line managers on iTrent system usage including myDetails & People Manager
  • Organise monthly User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Support the continuous development and improvement of iTrent
  • Drive improvements in data integrity, managing regular data cleansing
  • Manage operational changes to the company structure
  • Deal with more complex system work to resolve payroll problems
  • Experience of having worked in an HR Data team environment
  • Overall accountability providing advice and supporting team members with TUPE’s


  • In-depth iTrent system knowledge (essential)
