Energy Efficiency Policy

Netsource is committed to:

  • Improving our energy performance
  • Reducing our emissions of greenhouse gases
  • Reducing our energy costs

We are committed to a process of continual improvement of energy management and through the implementation of this policy we will be setting objectives and targets and developing energy action plans

Measuring energy use on an ongoing basis and using this information to regularly review policy, objectives, targets and the allocation of resources

Raising awareness amongst employees on energy usage; encouraging, guiding and supporting staff to act in accordance with this energy policy.

 

Environmental Protection Policy

 Netsource supports the following environmental policies:

  • Use recycled materials where possible
  • Purchase recycled materials and use recycling packaging and other materials where possible
  • Operate within an environment which ensures personnel are appropriately trained and have sound safety and emergency equipment
  • Ensure energy sources are used respectfully.
  • Embrace new technology to improve protection of the environment
  • Encourage a cycle to work scheme
  • Encourage the use of electric hybrid cars.

 

 Health & Safety Policy

Health and Safety Policy Statement

 Introduction

In moving forward together, Netsource is committed to providing and maintaining premises, equipment and systems of work which are safe and without risk to the health and safety of our employees and all who visit our premises.  Our aim is to foresee hazards and not just to deal with the result of accidents.

Scope of the Policy

Health and safety is the responsibility of all employees.  Specialist advice from external sources will be sought when necessary including professional medical advice.

Training and Guidance on the Policy

All employees will  be  informed  of  the appropriate  safety procedures relating to their work.  New employees joining the Company will receive basic training in health and safety and accident prevention from their Manager as part of their induction programme.

Regular Review of the Policy

The Managing Director will regularly review the policy to take account of amendments to legislation and any codes of practice.

Allocation of Responsibilities

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management and Safety at Work Regulations 1992.

General

The duties of the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations   1992   overlap   with   many   existing   regulations. However, where the duties under these regulations go beyond those in more specific regulations, additional measures will be taken to comply fully with the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1992.

Freedom of Association policy

Freedom of association is the right of all workers and employers without exception to establish and join organisations of their own choosing without prior authorisation and without interference from government or from one another.

At Netsource, freedom of association grants an explicit right for all workers to create their own organs of representation or trade unions in whatever form they decide is most effective. Employers also take advantage of this right when they form employer associations.

Netsource respects and supports the rights of all employees to freedom of association and collective bargaining. This is part of the company’s commitment to dialogue-based industrial relations in which employees may express their opinions without fear of reprisal. The company supports collective bargaining as a fair and balanced mechanism for reaching agreements governing relations between the company and its workforce.

 Labour Practices policy

We are committed to respecting human rights as embodied in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its two corresponding covenants, The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and The International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights. In addition to the universal statements of human rights noted above, we follow the principles in the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, including non-discrimination, freedom of association and collective bargaining, and freedom from forced and child labour.

 Ethics Policy

Netsource LTD is committed to ensuring a high standard of ethical and environmental trade practices, including the provision of safe working conditions and the protection of workers’ rights, across its global businesses. Netsource LTD conducts its business globally in accordance with the provisions of this Code of Ethical Policy (“the Code”) and expects its Suppliers to observe the Code’s provisions and to demonstrate a similar commitment to an ongoing programme of ensuring and, where necessary, improving, ethical and environmental practices.

 Customer Data Protection policy

 The purpose of this procedure is to define the system for the control of customer supplied product. (7.5.4 of ISO 9001:2008 standard)

Responsibility

The Sales Manager has responsibility for the application of this procedure.

Customer Supplied Property

The company shall exercise care with customer supplied property while it is under the company’s control or being used by the company.

The company shall identify, verify, protect and safeguard customer supplied property provided for use or incorporation into the day to day running of the company’s operation.

If any customer supplied property is lost, damaged or otherwise found to be unsuitable for use, this shall be reported to the customer and records maintained.

Property supplied by customers are documents such as standard Job Descriptions, standard Job Specifications and standard Technical Tests / Answers.

These products can be supplied by the customer in either electronic or paper format.

All customer supplied property received electronically are immediately saved onto the server within the appropriate Client Named folder.

Electronic customer supplied documents are password protected in order to control the content of the document.  They can then only be accessed as “read only” documents.

All customer supplied property received in paper format are immediately filed in the appropriate Client File and identified as customer supplied product.

Paper customer supplied property stored in the Client Files is protected as access to these files is restricted to the Sales Manager and the Office Manager.

The Sales Manager has responsibility to ensure all customer supplied property is identified as such, whether in electronic format or in paper format.

If a customer supplied property is to be used as part of the day to day running of the company’s operation, the consultant will be provided with details of how to access this product by the Sales Manager.

If a customer supplied property is lost, damaged or found to be unsuitable for use, this should be reported to the Sales Manager.

The Sales Manager will keep records of any instances where customer supplied property has not been managed according to the above procedure.  Non-conformances will be reported at each Quality Management meeting.

The Quality Manager will retain overall control of any non-conformances of customer supplied property, and non-conformance reports will be raised as appropriate.

Human Rights policy

Respect for human rights is fundamental to the sustainability of Netsource LTD and the communities in which we operate. In our Company and across our system, we are committed to ensuring that people are treated with dignity and respect.

Addressing following areas:

  • Prohibits child labour– The Company prohibits the hiring of individuals that are under 18 years of age.
  • Prohibits involuntary labour– The Company prohibits the use of all forms of forced labour, including prison labor, indentured labour, bonded labour, military labour, & slave labour.
  • Addresses wages and compensation- Netsource LTD compensates employees competitively relative to the industry and local labour market. We operate in full compliance with applicable wage, work hours, overtime laws.
  • Prohibits discrimination- The Company values the diversity of the people with whom we work and the contributions they make. We have a long-standing commitment to equal opportunity and intolerance of discrimination and harassment. We are dedicated to maintaining workplaces that are free from discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, sex, colour, national or social origin, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, political opinion or any other status protected by applicable law. The basis for recruitment, hiring, placement, training, compensation and advancement at the Company’s performance, skills and experience.

 Water usage policy

Water use is limited to filling the kettle for tea/coffee and flushing the lavatory. We do however ensure that taps are not left running and tap water is not unnecessarily dispenses and the lavatory not unnecessarily flushed.
